We figured it would be great to design a warm, hearty, apple cider blend that makes plenty of space for the hot, heady aromatics like cinnamon and clove that turn a good cider into a god-damn amazing one.
If you want to play along at home, here's a simple mulled cider recipe that's served me well on cold winter nights:
Mo's Mulled Cider Recipe
- Pour 1L of a high-end, not-from-concentrate cider in a saucepan and heat it over a low flame
- Add a stick of dried cinnamon, a pinch of whole cloves, and two star anise
- Slowly bring to a gentle boil, add a few thin slices of orange (including the rind and zest!) and take pot off the flame
- Let it sit and cool for five minutes before serving
Alternatively, you could just try some Fuji... either way, I promise you won't be disappointed :)
